SRIV is in critical need of volunteers to visit with local, homebound seniors. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity and a great way to make a difference in someone’s life.

SRIV is in need of medical transportation drivers to drive local seniors in need to their medical appointments. For some seniors, this is the only means for them to get to their appointments. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity and can be based around your schedule.

A museum in Exeter is seeking volunteers to assist with museum cleaning, data entry, education staff assistant, and archives volunteers who will receive training on how to preserve, maintain and archive collections.

Jonnycake Centerof Westerly

The Jonnycake Center of Westerly is looking for a social media and marketing student intern.  With over 10,000 Facebook followers and regular video views of 1,000, this internship will allow the intern to practice media skills, be creative, and help the community.

Looking for a commitment of 8-10 hours a week, flexible schedule of 2 hours per day preferred. Duties include photographing products, creating nightly posts, and developing Instagram and Facebook stories. This is a great opportunity to build a resume and earn community service hours. Tri-CountyCommunityAction Agency

Volunteers are needed who can support the food distribution program, located at 34 Pond St. in Westerly. Distribution is on the last Tuesday of each month. Volunteers are needed between 9 and 10 a.m. to assist with packing items for client pickup between 1 and 3 p.m.

Westerly Hospital

Adult volunteers help in our Emergency Department. Candidates must be customer focused, flexible, and willing to work in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment.
